At 186, we use the Cutera Enlighten laser for tattoo removal. It is considered a gold standard in tattoo removal because it combines two specific advanced engineering features: dual-pulse durations and multiple laser wavelengths.

Traditional lasers only use nanosecond (one-billionth of a second) pulses, but the Enlighten system utilizes both nanosecond and picosecond (one-trillionth of a second) pulse speeds.

Why the Technology is Superior

Dual-Pulse Breakdown: Nanosecond pulses break down large ink clumps first, while picosecond pulses rapidly shatter the remaining tiny ink particles into dust.
Complete Color Coverage: It features three distinct laser wavelengths to target the full spectrum of ink colors, including notoriously stubborn blues, greens, and red inks.
Fewer Treatments Needed: Because it shatters ink more thoroughly than older technology, patients generally require fewer total sessions to achieve complete clearing.
